Obama’s Nuclear Peace Gesture

Yesterday’s Obama speech at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin saw the American leader proposing drastic reductions in the Russian & American nuclear arsenal by up to one third, together with additional reductions in the number of tactical nuclear warheads deployed throughout Europe.

The iconic address given to a range of EU government officials and university students was made in the same place President Kennedy’s epic “ich bin ein Berliner speech” made exactly 50 years ago in 1963.

The speech comes on foot of this week’s G8 summit hosted by British Prime Minister David Cameron in Northern Ireland, where leaders gathered to discuss (among less important things), the ongoing crisis in Syria, where both America and Russia are backing opposite sides with weapons systems, munitions and intelligence support.

At the conference leaders on all sides called for Syrian peace talks to be held in Geneva at the earliest available opportunity.

Obama’s exact proposals are to reduce the state ownership of nuclear weapons in both Russia and America by one third less than the levels agreed upon in the New Start Treaty of 2010, which specifies a maximum allowance of 1,550 nuclear warheads and 700 deployed warhead launchers for both countries.

The current nuclear arsenals of Russia and America combined make up more than 90% of the World’s total of nuclear warheads.

At the end of the Cold War in the late 1980’s, the total number of nuclear warheads on the planet was approximately 70,000, 45,000 of which were held by the Soviet Union which broke apart and then officially dissolved itself in 1992 thereby ending 75 years of Communism in Europe.

The address precedes Obama’s first tour of Germany as the alleged President of the United States, where sources claim he will “call to action” EU states to aid America in the spreading global democracy and tackling allegedly catastrophic anthropogenic climate change, which is said to be primarily caused by Western industriality despite two decades of unprecedented economic and industrial growth in China, whose region most major Western manufacturers and retailers have chosen to outsource to.

Germany’s female Chancellor, the former East German Citizen Angela Merkel has made it clear that she intends to use Obama’s tour of Germany to highlight important issues surrounding America’s recent Snowden affair, which two weeks ago saw a US National Security Agency contractor and former member, blow the whistle on Obama’s mass spy grid, revealing thousands of documents proving that the Obama regime is mass harvesting “metadata” on millions of people’s phone calls and emails around the World.

The scandal which rocked all corners of American politics was especially concerning as it exposed that fact the “metadata” collected is being used to justify individual intercepts of people’s private email and phone call conversations, under the direction of a series of secret US Courts, known as ‘Foreign Intelligence Surveillance’ or ‘FISA’ Courts.

In an interview to the run-up of the Obama tour Merkel said: “We have to be clear what is being used, what is not being used, it must be proportional.”

The last time Obama spoke in Berlin was before his alleged inauguration as US President in 2008, where addressing an ecstatic liberal crowd, Obama spoke of “America’s mistakes” in how the United States had conducted its international affairs, citing his own pledges to “end” US military deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan and bring about more “transparency”.

At the time of Obama’s return yesterday, US troops remained deployed in both Iraq and Afghanistan, the so called “Arab Spring” – (a popular uprising bearing remarkable similarities to the popular uprisings which toppled Communism in Eastern Europe at the end of the Cold War), – which began in Egypt in 2011 and was already spreading to Tunisia and Algeria, was effectively smothered by the expertly timed US sponsored toppling of Gaddafi in Libya and Western-backed rebels, (most of whom are non-Syrian nationals, many of whom are in fact the very Islamists America have been fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan), stood poised to reignite Syria in yet another bloody revolution attempt to seize power.
